Here is a refreshing and vibrant dessert that captures the essence of sun-kissed oranges in a silky, smooth texture. Using agar agar, a plant-based alternative to traditional gelatin, this recipe ensures a vegan treat that delivers both tantalizing flavor and the perfect wobble. Perfect for warm afternoons or as a palate cleanser, this dessert is bound to be a hit among vegans and non-vegans alike.
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. Cape Crystal agar agar powder
STEP 1: Dissolve the agar-agar in water, in saucepan.
STEP 2: Combine juice, sugar, and water with agar agar.
STEP 3: Bring it to a boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally making sure agar agar is mixed well. Let it boil for about 2 minutes.
STEP 4: Remove from the heat and pour into Jell-O mold.
STEP 5: Refrigerate for about 3-4 hours. Then gelatin is ready to serve.
